Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern UNNO’s education and learning services. Read them together with the programme or course offer, our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy before applying, enrolling or purchasing.
1. The service and these terms
These terms are between you and UNNO Health Group, operating The UNNO Institute. They apply to our website, admissions, online learning, diploma pathways, standalone courses, assessments, practical training, learning resources and certificates. Review the programme description, price, access duration, inclusions, prerequisites and any course-specific conditions before applying or paying. A written course-specific agreement may supplement these terms. Mandatory rights under applicable law continue to apply.
2. Eligibility and truthful applications
Professional programmes are intended for adult learners aged 18 or over. Restricted courses may require a current professional licence, specified qualifications, prior study or admissions approval. Some courses have different eligibility requirements; being able to create an account is not approval for every programme.
Provide accurate information and documents you are entitled to use. We may verify licences, qualifications and identity. We may refuse or withdraw eligibility for forgery, impersonation or material misrepresentation, subject to an appropriate review and applicable law. Any decision about fees or refunds must comply with the disclosed agreement and your statutory rights; misconduct does not create an automatic right to keep every payment.
3. Accounts, security and verification
Keep your account and authentication methods secure, use your own credentials, and notify us promptly if you suspect compromise. Do not share or sell access, impersonate another learner, bypass access controls or tamper with verification, assessment or completion records.
Camera-based verification or monitored assessments may be required for particular learning activities. We explain the applicable checks and request any required sensitive-data consent separately. Optional device passkeys can use the authentication methods supported by your device. Read the Privacy Policy and contact admissions before purchase if you cannot meet a verification requirement.
4. What your purchase includes
Your entitlement is the programme or course described in your confirmed order. A diploma purchase covers online theory for the courses included in that diploma route, rather than every unrelated course in the catalogue, and does not include onsite practical fees unless the offer says so. Pay-as-you-go or standalone purchases cover the purchased course only. Additional courses, practical sessions or services are included only where the offer says so.
Access may depend on admissions approval, payment confirmation, prerequisite completion and security or identity checks. Any access period, practical fees, attendance requirements and award requirements must be disclosed in the relevant programme or order. Keep a copy of your order and confirmation.
5. Prices, currency and payment confirmation
Before you pay, the checkout must show the currency, payable amount, any applicable taxes or mandatory charges and whether practical fees are separate. Check those details and contact us if they differ from the agreed offer. A change to future prices does not retrospectively change a confirmed purchase.
Use approved payment channels. A successful payment must be reconciled to the purchased entitlement and a confirmation issued. If confirmation or access is delayed, contact support with the transaction reference; do not make a second payment merely because a return page failed. Refunds of duplicate or incorrect charges will be handled after verification and in accordance with applicable law.
6. Practicals and clinical responsibility
Practical sessions depend on the published eligibility, theory prerequisites, instructor supervision, venue capacity and available dates. Confirm booking details, the location and any separate fees before making travel arrangements.
Training does not authorise clinical practice beyond your licence or professional scope. Follow applicable professional standards, patient-consent requirements, supervision, infection-prevention procedures and the instructions of the practical team. Unsafe behaviour may require immediate removal from a session and subsequent review.
7. Assessments and academic integrity
Follow the assessment rules, attempt limits, timing, grading and integrity requirements displayed for the assessment. Do not obtain unauthorised help, use another person’s work, share answer keys, use AI to complete an assessment or interfere with monitoring.
We may hold a result or certificate while reviewing suspected misconduct or evidence. Where a decision adversely affects you, you may request an explanation and review through Info@unnoinstitute.com. Academic completion may require a pass, attendance, practical sign-off or review approval, rather than merely viewing content or submitting an attempt.
8. AI Study Mate and educational content
Study Mate is optional educational support for permitted video lessons and is unavailable during active assessments. Its responses may be incomplete or wrong. Check the source lesson, references and instructor guidance. It does not provide patient-specific diagnosis, treatment recommendations or a professional opinion.
Do not include patient identifiers, confidential clinical records or other sensitive third-party information in an AI question. You remain responsible for using learning material within your professional scope and for independent clinical judgement.
9. Certificates, diploma awards and CPD records
An individual course certificate and a final diploma award have different requirements. A diploma award is issued only when the programme-wide academic, assessment, practical and administrative requirements have been met. The programme description identifies any CPD recognition and the conditions that apply; a completion certificate is not a professional licence.
We may correct an award or, following an appropriate review, revoke one obtained through fraud, impersonation or academic misconduct. Certificate QR codes and verification links may disclose the credential details explained in our Privacy Policy. Check information before signing or submitting a downloaded CPD document.
10. Content ownership and permitted use
Course content, recordings, documents, brand assets and learning resources belong to UNNO or their respective rights holders. Your purchase permits personal study and any downloads expressly provided by the service. It does not transfer copyright or grant a right to resell, redistribute, publish, train other people with or commercially exploit the materials.
Do not record, scrape, redistribute or bypass protections around course materials without permission, except where a legal right or express licence allows it. Do not remove copyright notices or share access links that expose restricted content.
11. Your submissions and third-party information
You keep any rights you hold in your original submissions. You grant us the limited permission needed to store, assess, review and administer those submissions and to comply with lawful academic or audit requirements. That permission does not permit unrelated advertising use or sale of your work.
Only upload information and files you have authority to provide. Do not submit identifiable patient information or clinical images unless an approved workflow expressly requires them and the necessary permissions and privacy safeguards are in place. Unlawful, abusive, infringing or unsafe material may be restricted or removed.
12. Cancellation, refunds, transfers and deferrals
All purchases and confirmed bookings are final. UNNO does not offer voluntary refunds or cancellations for a change of mind, failure to attend, or a decision to stop studying. Review the programme, eligibility, inclusions, schedule, currency and total before paying. This policy does not exclude a refund, cancellation or other remedy required by applicable law, including for duplicate or incorrect charges or services not supplied as agreed.
If you believe a charge is incorrect or a mandatory consumer remedy applies, email Info@unnoinstitute.com with your order or payment reference, programme, relevant dates and the problem. We will review the payment and service records against your applicable rights. Transfers and deferrals are not an entitlement and are effective only if UNNO agrees them in writing.
13. Service changes, availability and support
We aim to provide reliable access but maintenance, network conditions or third-party failures can interrupt the platform. We will take reasonable steps to address problems. Report an access, billing or certificate issue using the official support contact.
We may update learning materials or make reasonable operational changes to instructors, venues or schedules. If a change materially affects a paid service, we will notify affected learners and address the appropriate remedy under the agreed offer and applicable law. We do not promise that a provider failure entitles us to withhold every remedy.
14. Suspension, termination and review
We may proportionately restrict an account or activity where necessary for security, serious misuse, fraud, unsafe conduct or a material breach. We may act immediately to address an urgent risk, then explain the relevant grounds when appropriate and lawful.
You can ask for review of an admissions, access, assessment or disciplinary decision through Info@unnoinstitute.com. Restricting an account does not remove applicable refund rights or our obligations concerning retained personal information.
15. Responsibility and limits
Education does not guarantee employment, income, business success, a clinical result, licensing approval or recognition by every professional body. You are responsible for your professional practice and for following applicable laws and standards.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect business losses arising from misuse of the service or matters outside our reasonable control. These terms do not exclude liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections. They do not excuse fraud or otherwise override applicable law.
16. Privacy, communications and external services
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information, and our Cookie Policy explains optional storage and tracking choices. Cookie choices do not accept these terms, and accepting these terms does not permit unrelated marketing, analytics or biometric processing.
We may send service messages needed for your account, enrolment, payment, assessments and awards. Optional marketing must have an appropriate basis and an available opt-out. Payment, video and other external services have their own applicable terms and privacy notices.
17. Changes, governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, subject to any mandatory rights and protections that apply to you. A revised notice does not retrospectively remove an accrued right or unilaterally change a confirmed purchase. Material changes to an ongoing paid service will be communicated, and new agreement will be obtained where required.
Contact Info@unnoinstitute.com to raise a complaint or seek resolution. You retain the right to approach a competent court, the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission or another relevant regulator. No informal complaint procedure here removes a legal right to seek independent redress.
