Cookie Policy

Choose which optional services may use your browser information. Essential services remain available when optional tracking is declined.
1. What this notice covers
Cookies are small records a website stores in your browser. We also use similar storage such as localStorage or sessionStorage where appropriate. This notice explains the categories used on UNNO’s website and learning platform, how you choose optional services, and what happens when you change your choice.
2. Your choices
Essential only allows the storage needed to provide the service you request and keeps optional analytics, browser diagnostics and automatic third-party video loading off. Accept all allows the three optional categories. Manage preferences lets you choose each category separately; optional switches are off by default.
Cookie settings is available throughout the website and in the footer. You can change or withdraw an optional category at any time without losing paid course access. Closing the notice does not give new optional consent. We respect supported browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals by keeping analytics and browser diagnostics off.
3. Essential storage
- LH_access: an HttpOnly authentication cookie with an eight-hour lifetime in the current web configuration. It is used for signed-in requests.
- LH_refresh and LH_session: refresh and session-marker storage used to maintain or refresh a login. Refresh credentials have a 30-day lifetime in the current web configuration and are cleared or replaced by sign-out and session controls.
- LH_oauth_* and related authentication state: short-lived sign-in and security context for an authentication flow you initiate.
- LH_tenancy, LH_default_org, LH_frontend_domain, LH_top_domain, LH_mode and related routing settings: first-party configuration needed to direct requests to the right learning service.
- unno_cookie_consent: records the consent version, optional categories, a random receipt identifier and timestamps for 180 days. The main website and its www address share this choice. It is not a login credential.
- Local display, language or playback settings: used to remember a feature or preference you request. Browser storage lasts until changed or cleared, unless the feature sets a shorter period. Essential learning records are also held securely on the server.
4. Optional analytics
If you allow Analytics and it is configured, limited page and feature events help us understand how the service is used. This may use first-party analytics session storage such as lh_analytics_session_id and PostHog identifiers beginning ph_. These are browser identifiers, not your password or payment credentials.
We disable automatic capture, session recording and advertising profiles. Account emails, assessment answers, payment details and free-text searches are excluded from the product-analytics payload. Sensitive areas such as sign-in, account, admissions, payment and assessment pages are excluded. Analytics is not activated simply because a tracking key exists in our configuration.
5. Optional browser diagnostics
If you allow Diagnostics and it is configured, browser error reports can help improve reliability. We remove submitted data, account identity, request bodies and console breadcrumbs from those reports. Browser session replay is disabled.
Necessary server-side security, audit and operational records are separate from optional browser tracking. They may still be processed to deliver and protect the service when you choose Essential only.
6. Third-party content and other providers
If you allow Third-party content, external video players, document previews and other embeds can be loaded. Otherwise we show a choice before loading them. The load button enables this category for future visits; analytics and diagnostics stay unchanged. Loading external content sends device and network information to the provider, which may use cookies under its own policies.
UNNO-hosted learning videos work with essential cookies only. External links and a payment or security service you explicitly use are governed by that service’s purpose and policies. We do not use our own advertising pixels to target you; third-party providers may have their own advertising or privacy settings.
7. Duration, receipts and withdrawal
Our cookie choice expires after 180 days. We ask again if it expires, you clear the record, or the consent version changes. We also record an anonymous server receipt with the choice, version and timestamps, scheduled for removal after 12 months. The receipt has no account link, IP address or browsing history.
Changing optional consent stops future optional collection and attempts to clear the optional identifiers accessible to this site. It cannot undo information already lawfully collected or remove cookies stored by an unrelated third-party website. Browser settings and that provider’s controls can help manage those records. If your browser blocks all storage, your choice may apply only to the current visit and the notice may appear again.
